Carson Wells - Picasso On Contradiction
Trying to get this thing back to something half decent/relevant.
Went to a pretty amazing gig last night - Aviation For Kids, Carson Wells, Pensioner, Trapped In Kansas. Great lineup of quality bands, and interesting music.
Carson Wells took me by surprise. Very energetic and noisy, but their recordings aren’t quite up there with the live set. Really amazing and entertaining band.
Pensioner were pretty impressive as well. We’re playing at their album launch (April 27th), but I hadn’t listened to much of them. Fucking great band, highly recommended. Recently signed to Olive Grove Records an’ all.

Hi friend Laurie recently filmed & recorded a band in our living room as part of a series of films he’s making for a DVD & university project. Me and Tom helped out and I took some photos with my seldom-used DSLR which you see on Flickr.
Oh, the band’s called Field Mouse and they’re quite delightful. Can’t wait to see the film.
